Physically Impaired (PI): Technical Training Materials & Resources
Resources for Paraprofessionals: Serving Students with Physical Impairments
Minnesota administrators have been asked to provide disability overviews to their paraprofessional staff, and has partnered with Infinitec, a technology program of UCP of Greater Chicago that serves school districts in IL, MN, KS and PA, to create several modules to address this requirement. One of these modules is entitled, Physical Impairment Overview, a video for paraprofessionals that addresses eligibility criteria for Physically Impaired, explores unique aspects of learning for these students, and the role of the paraprofessional when working with these students.
The MN Low Incidence Projects is sharing this sample Infinitec video for paraprofessionals which reflects our services in MN to students with Physical Impairments. If you would like to see other Infinitec modules, please contact Mary Bettlach, firstname.lastname@example.org or 309.431.0645.
